My Way of Studying

Just finishing up FAR today by doing all the questions from the book and Elan guide question bank. Going through I am reading all the lessons first which normally takes a week or so and then coming back and doing the questions. I feel this way if I know something it will really show and if there is something I need to go back on I will mark that for later. For example with Financial Reporting Standards, very easy material but its pure memory. I will go back a month before the exam to all those memorization chapters. Anything that is a challenge now that needs to be calculated I want to perfect so its not an issue. Ill save the memorizing for later. I am onto fixed income and then equities and portfolio management. I will finish off with stats and ethics.

Yes memorize later. Make flash cards of important equations, ideas, concept, relationships.
