Need a consensus

hello all, I’m just trying to get some more info and insight into the industry, and not sure if I should go after this job. It’s a Portfolio Manager Assistant position for a money market, it’s with Union Bank. Now, money markets are the most boring form of investment management and that’s why this Portfolio Manager is having a hard time finding someone suitable for the job. I’d personally like to get into equties, but here’s my dilemma: I’ve been a professional poker player for 2 years now. So I have no investment experience. I also passed the CFA level 2 two years ago, so I have that going for me. So my question is, should I go for and take this job, or should I keep grinding away, trying to find a job in equities?
