Need help inserting text into a PDF

An insurance company sent me a claims form but they designed the PDF in such a way that there are no text fields. How do I insert text into the PDF file? I’m on Windows 8.1

I also have a Windows Vista Machine with Adobe Acrobat Pro version 7

See if you can save it as a word doc instead

I received it in the form of a pdf, so I was unable to open it in Word

So I posted to the Water Cooler section of Analystforum.

Adobe pro (not acrobat reader) will allow you to insert fields in a pdf. When inserting fields, make sure that you update the format of the text box to not have any borders.
