I have already passed full FRM exam since last Nov exam but my work experience has not yet reached 2-year requirement (around 1 month additionally I need). Regarding my background, I have worked as an equity analyst in local broker, producing & providing research papers and investment recommendation to investors. With my hesitancy, I need some suggestions from the one who have ever submitted CV/Resume to GARP. Here are my some questions:
- I have learned from CFA Institute’s guidance regarding how to successfully submit work experience by using concise sentences. Does this work for FRM? Or GARP needs descriptive sentences? If so, what minimum words does GARP need?
- Despite a minority, how to majorly relate risk management skill in my work function and explicitly show to GARP? I plan to describe, for example, “I have analyzed risk factors which can negatively impact forecasted earnings. I also perform a sensitivity analysis regarding how movement of such risk factors would result in the change of earnings, fair value of share price, as well as firm’s financial position”. Not sure whether it is adequate.
