I met a guy from Goldman a couple of days ago. He said that next year, lots of IB might manage people out and get some new blood. If true, what is the point of that?
New blood = fresh visions. Also a lot of IBs will need to trim the fat as the markets will not be as bullish as they have been.
New blood also = reduced payroll
