Just got this email saying GARP will now provide FRM candidates with 2 pencils to do the exam and exam paper would not be graded if we use our own pen or pencil.
Bit pointless I think…
Seems agressive. Can’t find that on the website though.
Exact quote from that email -
NEW EXAM DAY POLICY… PENCILS… PENCILS… PENCILS
GARP will provide each candidate with two #2 pencils with attached erasers on exam day. These pencils are for you to keep and bring home with you after the exam. If you bring in and use your own pencil or pen at any time during the exam, your exam will not be graded.
Getting used to the grip of the pencil was part of my pre exam routine.
