And, no, I’ve never had another account here.

The bet was accepted, I’ll be contacting STL regarding banning your account if you don’t pay. SAD! This faker hasn’t even apologized yet. He’s less Canadian than Atush.

Please quote where the bet was accepted to preserve for AF posterity.

Amazon Weighs Boston in Search for Second Headquarters

I will spend my $200 on Chicken Masala near fresh street yumyumyum

Yeah close to Dulles IAD is a pretty good price for land around there, being close to a decent airport and not too expensive.

Moody’s put out a piece analyzing the top ten for AMZN HQ. It’s interesting how geography is considered “subjective” but when you include it Philly is at the top.

“If the geography category is included, Philadelphia moves from third place to first place”

listened to the director of research of CBRE speak this week and he touched on it. His take was if the deciding factor is real estate & labor costs it will be Atlanta or Toronto, but obviously taking into political considerations it comes down more to the proposal each city gives. I cant see it being philly as much as i think it is a good fit and checks a lot of boxes

you are failing to consider the biggest factor - that boston has Marrdddyy & Chaaaaarlie (irish accent for those unable to tell). AMZN coming to boston.

There’s Huge buzz about them coming here to central MA (Worcester), but I don’t think there’s any way that happens

Claim: Your Black Swan is showing

Verdict: TRUE

Visited my buddy in Toronto this weekend, had a great time, great weather, food, bars, even went to see a CFL game which was fun. Only complaint is how freaking ugly the city is, like rvery multi family bulding went up within the same 5 year period with the same design and it just looks like absolute crap. Idk how that was approved

Its atlanta, I’m calling it. Convenient opposite side of the country, low taxes, cheap real estate.

What part of city are you referencing?

I saw those buildings fairly evenly distributed throughout the city

ugly condo toronto

is an example. here is an article on it

^ They’re a lot better than these NYC gems

Image result for projects building new york

yeah but Stuytown was also sold for $5.3 billion

http://fortune.com/2015/10/20/what-the-5-billion-stuyvesant-town-deal-says-about-the-real-estate-market/

it does look similar to the NYC projects though lol - its a really hip place to live now - lots of hot chicks there

have you never been to east Asia? The buildings reminded me of Japan

abraham: i have not, the entire city is full of them and it just looks cheap & tacky. City would be better served w/o them

higgs: agreed thats why they shove those projects & project like buildings where normal people wont see them high in the bronx, upper manhattan, queens, LES etc.

if you want to see the scary possibly ugly trend in nyc multifamily look no further than 432 Park - disgusting building. The only thing they can use to sell it is to tell everyone living there means when you look out your windows you dont have to see this horrible building
