Yes I agree, my screen fits only 2 or 3 replies per screen, I’m constantly scrolling… eyes are in pain!
on each user’s profile - a parametrizable # “N” - how many messages of each thread does the user want to see, when he clicks on a thread - could be provided. Show only N messages - and provide the ability to scroll on to the next N messages on the same thread.
I agree. This new format makes reading the replies very painful. I’d rather stab my eyeballs with red hot pins.
Thanks for all of the feedback. The new system is very flexible so we will eventually get to a design that everyone likes. It may take some time, but we will get there. Your opinions and feedback will help us get there.
There is a constant strain on my eyes as I’m trying to read the text but my eyeballs keep gravitating to the dark poster profile photo. If there is a way to change that color from black to a light grey that might help–maybe.

The above seems to be related to hitting refresh and the back button. I just came back to this page and it wasn’t there.
I was getting this error too at first, but once you set your time zone correctly in the “My account” section it should fix itself.
The sidebar in the right is eating most of the real estate on the page. Especially as more posts build up on the thread, there is just blank space to the right. Either do away with the right sidebar, or at least there should be an option where the options on the right sidebar scroll down with the page. (maybe use the floating block drupal module for this)
As people add to their profiles it makes the spacing on this page even worse–if that is possible. Do I really need to know which company each poster is studying with, along with their logos? User profiles are cool, but you should simply be able to click on the name to go to a profile page. Look at post #13, yikes!!!
Coupla Points. 1. We need a like/+1/dislike type feature. So often a reply will just have a +1. Waste of space. 2. We also need the private message feature. Many of us do not like handing out our email addresses. 3. We need a poke feature as well. (ie Poke at Joe to return what’s rightfully mine) 4. Allow me to upload my photo. Just because I’m African does not mean you can reject my photo. If I were white, female, and goodlooking; I’m sure my photo would show up instantly. 5. We should get a MBA checkmark along with the various financial designations. I hate to break it to you, but the MBAvsCFA article on the front page will not stop members from listing a post titled CFAvsMBA. That is all. Please stop nuking my threads. It hurts my self esteem.
Just wanted to reiterate the “like/dislike” idea. Points shouldn’t be rewarded for simply making posts. A karma system of some sort would be more appropriate. What directly linking to other webpages, and other formatting issues? Bold, italics, etc. would be nice.
The profile should have a section for World of Warcraft achievements. What is the point of spending hundreds of hours gold farming if no one can see what epic mount you use? Plus, I heard it gets the girls - I read it on the internet.

if a post has enough “dislikes” it should be completely hidden. And high “likes” posts should be bolded or get a darker border or something Yes, other forums have it, and it is “copying”, but these are awesome features
On the old website there was a function where I could search within a particular forum. How do I search only with one forum? E.g. return only search results from the level 3 forum. Otherwise the search returns way too many results. Thanks.
