Ehh, the loss had nothing to do with the call. Dallas got a lucky call last week but they played better than Detroit anyway. Green Bay played better than Dallas today (though both played well) and it was the correct call. It was a good game but Rodgers was too much. The better team won and it was clean.

Manning had nothing left for at least 6 weeks now. I wouldnât be surprised if we find out he had something more serious than what we were led to believe. I wouldnât be surprised if he took his retirement either. A big loss for the game if he does.

Peyton Manning = best 16-week QB in NFL history? Last night, CBS showed that in his 17 seasons, heâs lost his first playoff game in 9 of them. And heâs made the playoffs in 15/17 seasons (the exceptions being his rookie season and the 2011 season when he was out the entire year).
And the Dez Bryant catch? Classic example of referees inserting themselves in the middle of a game and trying to help determine the outcome. The NFL needs more officials like Pete Morelli, who will stand up and make the right call without trying to please the home crowd or NFL front office.

^I think the referee still has the final say. The NFL HQ looks at it and tells the referee what they think, but he still has the final say on the call.
It was the right call regardless, especially with the precedent set by the Calvin Johnson catch a couple years back.
I would have loved to see the Cowboys fansâ reaction to that call had the Cowboys not received the benefit of the doubt on the PI flip-flop the prior week.
you are right. HQ cues up the best angles and the ref watches them and makes his decision. For obvious ones HQ will tell the ref the call and he confirms it.
