Congrats on landing Dwayne Harris, all you vaGiants fans. I was really hoping Americaā€™s Team would hold onto him. Heā€™s a great special-teams guy, both on returns and coverage.

Let me also addā€“if the Cowboys have to pay superstar money to DeMarco Murray, then they can just let him walk away as far as Iā€™m concernedā€“mainly for two reasons.

  1. Reversion to the mean, and

  2. I think his great season was less about his awesome ability, and more about the fact he had a great offensive line and a great passing game. You could probably put any of a dozen running backs in that offense and theyā€™d have the same production.

Loving the Chip Kelly saga this offseason.

He got rid of his # 1 QB, RB and WR from last year. It will be interesting to see if this gamble pays off. I have a weird feeling that it mightā€¦

Harris is obviously talented, but Iā€™m not sure why theyā€™d pay $7.1m guaranteed to a special teamer who will contribute little to nothing on offense. I understand that the Giants havenā€™t had a good return man since Dave Meggett in the mid-90s, but this is a lot of dough considering how many holes we have on the defense.

It is a lot of fun watching all the Eagles fans around me trying to figure out WTF Chip is doing. Iā€™m praying that the Rams package Foles with some picks and move up to draft Mariota at 6. Heads all over Philly will explode.
