what about mark Sanchez?

what about mark Sanchez?

Yearly team valuations are out. They will likely never win another meaningful game again, but they are still America’s (most valuable) team.

Last night I bought Madden '17…first Madden purchase for me in about 12 years. Initial review is positive once you get passed the 15 minute intro that forces the LA Rams down your throat.

That’s all.

Is it good? Been debating a sports title for a while, I usually buy the year back because you can get them cheap was debating FIFA or Madden, after like Madden 05 I kinda stopped as they got a little ridiculous with the controls

The controls are way different than when I last played Madden (to be expected since that was on an original Xbox). I’ve only logged about an hour so far, but they seem to be fairly intuitive. Reading the manual (screw those lengthy tutorials they offer) there are a lot of ā€œspecialā€ moves you can do on offense and defense, but I was able to pick up the game and crush the Raiders by 28 points (albeit on ā€œProā€) my first game.

Yeah I probably haven’t played Madden since the year they came out with the hit stick. I think Vick was on the cover? He was unstoppable in that game. Could out run basically anyone and had a cannon.

I don’t think I’ve played a football game since Tecmo Bowl.

Bet the Chiefs wouldn’t have beat the Raiders in that game. Bo Jackson was unstoppable.

The only other game where one character had so much advantage–Toad, in the original Super Mario Kart (for the Super NES).

Tecmo Super Bowl

Original Tec had Walter Payton. Anyway, I’ll concede that Bo was the best in Super Tec, but the Chiefs had Christian Okoye who was pretty damn awesome in his own right.

Never thought I would see this headline:

Dominant Sam Bradford outplays Aaron Rodgers in Vikings debut: 8 takeaways

Best plays of the week.

no blood or anything but probably should add the possible NSFW tag

Bumping this thread because as an Eagles fan I must post how exciting it is to watch a qb run an offense like Carson Wentz has these first 2 games. Obviously not against top tier talent but impressive for a rookie either way.

Understatement of the year. The Browns and the Bears are the top two teams in the NFL…in draft order.

Dak Prescott, on the other hand, has shown considerable poise and ability against solid defenses. I think he’s probably going to take over Peyton Brady’s title as GOAT before the end of his career.

In all seriousness, though, I hope Prescott continues to do well, and that the Cowboys cut Tony Romo and use his cap space to get some pass rush. Romo’s been a good QB, but he’s too frail to be reliable these days. (Remember–the best ability is availability.)

In other news, Adrian Peterson is done for the year.

^ Vikings picked up Ronnie Hillman. Should be an interesting season for them.

Who’s reporting AP out for the year? Last report I read had him getting surgery on his meniscus but said he could be back in a month, or maybe not at all. I don’t have him or any of his backups, so doesn’t majorly affect me, but I might look to shop one of my RB’s to the guy who has AP if he really is done for the year.

3-4 months. Done for the year unless the Vikes go post-season.

My Vikes beat the Packers.

I’m cool.

I’m not cool with that.
