Right gents, who should I support in the NFL?

For basketball I have the Celtics, baseball the Yankees and ice hockey the Bruins - although I never know where the f u cking puck is.

I can’t support the Pats as they’re cheaters and I’m not a fan of either of the NYC teams as they’re in Jersey. Cowboys fans are annoying so they’re out but otherwise I’m open. suggest to me some friends a team

Steelers fans are incredibly obnoxious. Id go with a team thats competitive and also has a normal fan base, Packers seem solid. Obviously my Eagles are out for the rules I stated above.

Packers are always a good choice for nomadic fans. Just so long as it’s not the Raiders or Broncos…

They’re only obnoxious to Eagles fans, and for very obvious, justifiable reasons. Packers are a solid pick though. I find myself rooting for them when it doesn’t have negative implications for the Giants.

Fair enough, but they are loud and the whole “terrible towel” thing is not as cool as the cheese head. I pull for the Pack as well, always a treat to watch Rodgers play.

So it sounds like it’s between the Steelers and the Packers. I like Pittsburgh, it sounds like a good working class city but it has the whole Carnegie link and he was from Dunfermline.

Green Bay could be a solid choice but I had to google where the feck it is. I bet they have great accents like the people on Making a Murderer.

Pittsburgh is a former working class city, its more like a Austin type not full of young creative/tech types now. City had to reinvent itself to survive, def one of the “rust belt” success stories.

The cool think about the packers is that the fans own the team, its pretty neat.

I’m pretty much sold on the Packers although the Steelers seem like a good pick too. Just realised they’re in different divisions so I’ll go with both of them. Thanks gents.
