Non-Parametric Test Formulae - Vital?

Hi All,

How important do people feel the forumulae for non-parametric tests are (i.e paired comparisons, pooled variance etc)? I know Schweser state that the CFAI won’t examine them but since they’re on the curriculum surely it is a possibility that they would be examined? What are people’s thoughts? It would be very convenient if I needn’t bother wasting my time learning off the formulae!

Not going to memorize them at all. I would say be familiar and know what they try to accomplish. I’m not going to waste time on those at L1.
