Seems easy to find for indicies but I need free access for historical P/E’s for individual stocks

cjones. Very good site, but the p/e’s given there are for industries. Thank you though I will need for individual stocks, last 5 or 10 years would be best

AAII stock investor database has the last 7 years for each stock but you have to pay $279. Of course, you can get a full refund in 364 days if you are unhappy for any reason.

Do you just need an average for each year? Or are you looking for daily? BigCharts has a nice feature, but it doesn’t give you the data points. http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/advchart/frames/frames.asp?symb=unh&time=8&freq=1 Morningstar give the TTM data for 10 years: http://quicktake.morningstar.com/StockNet/Valuation10.aspx?Country=USA&Symbol=WFC
