Not sure what to do? I have 8 days off.

I watched the videos and read some of the books twice, but I haven’t really started practice questions. When I do questions from schweser bank or some example test questions it blows me away. It seems like I have a hard time remembering everything I read. My strategy is to do questions from the schwser test bank and then do practice exams later. What would you guys do if you had 8 days off until the exam? I don’t think I can pass this thing, but I do have 8 days.

cfadummy I am starting today to do practice exams too. just keep on doing as much as you can

I don’t think I’ll be going in to the office tomorrow either. It’s not like I can be that productive checking AF every 2 mins. I’ll be splitting the last days; AM Practice exam or questions, PM, review weak areas and memorize lists.

Is it lack of concentration, nervousness, can’t remember formulas, etc? When you figure that out, you will know how to adress the problem.

CFAdummy…sounds like my prep is similar to yours so far (been thru all the material, run thru Schweser end of chapter problems, been thu some of the practice exams), and i have 7 days off starting Friday night at 4pm!! My plan is to finish all of the schweser practice exams under very loose conditions (ie…i let myself look up formulas or some concepts if i can’t remember something specifically) - i find this is how i REALLY start to retain knowledge FOR EXAM PURPOSES- it is practical application of the theory i have been going over. By about tuesday, I will start doing some exams (probably the 2006 exam in the schweser book and the CFAI mock exams) under exam condition. I feel that way i can assess where my shortcomings are, and cram to remember things i don’t know. Ultimately, its a comfort thing for me. I don’t think there is anything in the curriculum that i am unfamiliar or overly challenged with at this point. I think the key for the last week is (1) getting comfortable with HOW to attack each problem when you see it and recognize what they are testing; (2) having the ability to recall what is required; (3) being able to apply what you have learned. Sorry if this sounds simplistic…but that is my approach for what it is worth!
