Because all munis have gotten slaughtered recently. General spike in interest rates hurt, combined with uncertainty around the BAB program, tax rates (perhaps resolved, but if cuts are extended then munis become less attractive), and headline risk. In all, I think it’s a good buying opportunity if you’re going to hold for a while.
