Obama re election stock market winning/losing sectors

Looking at morning market reactions in various sector indices.

Winners: Clean Tech, Mid Cap, China, Israel, Neurotech (what is this), Biotech, Precious Metals

Losers: Well… everything else, but notably: Banks, Large Cap, High Dividend Stocks, Coal, Oil, Insurance, Health Care

Some of the losers might be just due to beta (market overall is down).

I can see the market responded favorably to Obama’s win only falling ~2% on the open. Imagine how ugly it could have been had the infallible Obama not stopped the bleeding early on.
