I doubt that there is zero consequence to US activities because of the attack, even if it is likely under the radar right now, and if the Republicans in the senate are to be believed, nothing is supposed to happen in government anyway until the next election,
I don’t think it’s a secret that I’m not a fan of President Obama, but I have no problem with him dancing at the dinner in Argentina. He was there on official business and dancing is a signature of Argentina’s new president. The POTUS doesn’t need to jet back to Washington every time something significant happens in the world. Had there been an attack on US soil or US interests abroad, it would be a different story, but that’s not what happened.
How large would the tragedy have to be for O not to do “The Wave” with a communist dictator on the day of the attack? Just asking. I don’t know the answer. I would presume if a couple buildings came down in Brussels he would alter his social calendar, but, yeah, wouldn’t want the terrorist to think they disrupted the President’s schedule. That might embolden them.
