9 days of study (started Thursday before exam) and passed by the skin of my teeth…last year had 9/10 top band in L1, this year 3/10 top band for L2, 5/10 middle, 2/10 low. Will make sure to get in two solid weeks for next year haha.
Ah yes and I “failed” ethics…a bit surprised, but whatever.
Wow, I’m very impressed. Congratulations. I know what it’s like to fail L2… I hope to share your good news this morning. Still haven’t received my result.
Curious, how did you change your study habits over time? If I fail again I may need to revist how I approach the material.
Still waiting !!! It does seem like the ones who passed are getting the results first…Nothing worse than knowing the pass rate…seeing all the ones who passed get their results…while you still wait for the e-mail…!!!
I decided this was my last time taking LII, either I was going to take LIII next year or drink beer and play video games. No excuses this year and studied my A@# off, used Schweser for prep provider ( though I thought the video classes were not all that helpful, and boring). Key was that I was completely comfortable with a pass or fail, and thus was very relaxed and stress free going into it.
Definitely don’t give up! Study your A#$ off, and give it another shot!
I used Schweser, Stalla, the CFAI books. Tooks classes every year. Did at least 4 or 5 practice exams. Honestly, I don’t know what the right study plan is. I just went at it from every angle until it stuck. This last year I took classes every wednesday night for 16 weeks, I think that helped me to stay focused. It’s easy to go a week or sometimes a month without opening the books when you don’t have a class to keep you focused.
Probably not the best idea to take advice from someone who failed three times though… =)
