Official December 2008 Results Thread....

I’m going to the Calgary vs Buffalo game tonight, and then I am going to get smashed, and then I’m going to go to the casino and lose money. Ladies, step aside, tonight I get loser drunk

Hi guys, Congrats to all who passed…I passed too… Its really a great relief… how many of you are planning to go for Level2. Is 4 months enough for L2??

I passed, too… and am > due with my first baby in a month…so I really am > torn whether to go for LII or not… kseniaru, if you don’t mind me asking… how was it, studying while being pregnant and taking the exam so late into the pregnancy? I’m due in August 09 and debating whether I should sign up for L1 in June or wait til Dec… ___________________________________________________________________ Studying while pregnant is not fun… can’t drink red bull, can’t have too much coffee…and get tired sooner than usual. But it is definitely duable! I think it is easier to study when you are pregnant vs when you have an infant on your hands… I would say you: Do it, sign up for June, and if you fail, there is always Dec. If you are due in August, you would still have a couple of month to go…so it is not that bad. 2nd trimester is the easiest, just get enough sleep before exam. For example, I stayed at the hotel where the exam took place to eliminate any commute. GO for it!!! The baby will help… it’s going to be two brains on the exam instead of one…

PASS. All 70%>. Except equity 50<>70. Yay

Hi All - Passed. Just wanted to thank all the members of this forum - I may not have posted a lot of messages while preparing for LV1 but was definately an active AF ‘viewer’. To all the AF regulars, your time and knowledge certainly helped me solidify some concepts. Many thanks.

I don’t get it. I was >70% in Passmaster in Quant & FSA. Guess that just means I’ll kick the **** out of the June exam.

I’d been a lurker on AF through my preparation phase of a month and a half and right through till the release of results and figured this is a good time to sign up and thank AFers who have been keeping up the banter and helping those who had no other company to suffer this with  Oh, and the numerous threads discussing the tougher questions sure helped me figure out some concepts… Thanks, guys! Passed with 9/10 > 70% and 51-70% in AI, which is ironic because I work within the broad area of AI and would have expected to nail that one. But hey, I’m not complaining one bit!
