2014 June CFA III failed
27 female and married, I thought I could finally get my family life back.but no, another year of work/study fatigue.
you guys can study while have babies but I don’t think that’s an option for me.
Yeah you can. Female, married, 29 y.o. here.
June 2012 - My baby is 7 months old, I sat CFA Level-1 exam. Passed with All >70%.
June 2013 - First baby is 1.8 years, I’m 8 months pregnant. Sat CFA Level-2 exam. Passed.
June 2014 - Two babies, husband, household duties. Sat CFA Level-3 exam. Passed.
Do not postpone babies and family, darling. I managed to start and finish my charter while on maternity leave. If I could do it, you can do it, too. I had no help with the babies until 1 month before each exam, when I asked my parents to babysit full-time.
Women CAN and SHOULD have it all, right?

Shame we can’t meet for a celebratory beer after all this time hanging out on this forum the last 3+ years. Would have been good to put faces to all the names (cgottuso, GoBigRed, trojul, eskimofriend, GringoBob, Pierre …even though he disappeared, pokhim, blackomen,krazykanuck, confused2010, googleboy, Gottasay, tyler4040, ayodayo, cpk123, vickycool (did that crazy mofo pass), panno.kolias, woodywoodford, GordonGecko, Aether, paul1977, mpearc4, kobi, S2000, and everyone else I’m forgetting but have been regulars on the way). AF has definitely changed the CFA experience and allowed for letting off steam, general bitching, psychological counceling, and general help with the material.
So long guys and thanks for everything, don’t see myself hanging around here too much after this so goodluck with life/careers/making up for lost time.

I screwed around at univeristy and graduated with a 3 year BA in 5 years cuz of droping courses and bad friends. When I graduated i had no job reality kicked in. My family supported me my wife and mom through those times and kept making me belive I can do it and I prayed a lot to Allah to pass me. Praying 5 times a day gave me the discipline in life i never had. Everything is possible through God if you truly belive and ask him and only him…
To all who failed … Do not give up…
Maybe less praying and more studying would have gotten you through more quickly, haha
