On a lighter note.....

I have been doing a lot of bacpacking and visited most of the Cyclades. I will recommend you to choose some of the smaller and nicer islands like Ios and Sifnos rather than spending to much time on Crete, Santorini & Mykonos

Drinking on saturday night, sunday i’ll be doing proper feck all except maybe watching series 3 of game of thrones on sky+

Then back to work on Monday in that semi catatonic ‘but i was just doing a bloody exam 36 hours ago, why am i back here?’ state.

good shout on the Aberlour Magician. I’ve got a bottle of Doublewood from the Balvenie and a Talisker Storm to crack open. I’m hoping that I’ll have a reason to open a bottle of Bowmore 18 come July!

Depends on how I felt I did on the exam. Possibly drink the blood of the ancients. Possibly drink bud light. Not sure which.

What is up with everybody watching games of thrones? I thought it was a kid’s show? Should I try it?

Yes, watch Game of Thrones, absolutely. NOT a child’s show. I’m saving up this current season on HBOGo to watch on Friday, May 31 - same thing I did last year.

I’ll probably do the same thing I did last year on Sunday after exam, spend the day at the zoo with my family. Thinking about taking a random day off sometime in June and watching the entire new season of Arrested Development.

Then the Saturday after results come out I am heading to Alaska for a two week vacation. Hoping I’ll have to have the Level III curriculum eBook loaded onto my iPad for some early studying.

As in, the day before the exam? interesting strategy

Arrested Development - Season 4

When did you start studying? I’m curious, not trying to have a measuring contest. I started in November - I’m past the saturation point, anything I pick up from here on out is a godsend, I’m really just maintaining. My girlfriend assures me that this isn’t a bad strategy in my situation (she’s entering the final year of a PhD in cognitive psychology where she’s focusing on memory and multitasking) - you know, synthesis of information and sh** - and I justify it by telling myself that if I fail, it’s not because I took Friday off. I’ll do the same thing I did last year, review the Mock very early in the morning (not in excruciating detail like I did right after I took it), and relax for the day. I’m taking vacay all next week so I will be spending all day every day from Saturday - Thursday in the library.

I remember way back when, during the time when I used to take a day off here and there, that the study sess’ following those days off were particularly energetic and enthusiastic.

I’m totally with you on taking it easy on Friday, I’m going to be reviewing my notes from mock papers and reviewing study cards. I think it’s pretty much universally accepted that with 24 hours to go, it’s unlikely that you’ll learn much more than you already know, for me it’s just a case of refreshing the vast syllabus to make sure I can recall it all under time pressure.

In between light review, i’ll be going for a swim, probably a long walk for fresh air but i’ll definitely be leaving the 10 hours of Game of Thrones until after the exam

I started in earnest in January
