On a lighter note.....

Tensions running high at the moment in the L2 forum, and understandably so - tell me, what do you guys have planned for after June 1 to “decompress?”

I’m not a drinker so I just have a great meal planned for that evening - gonna need to spend some serious time with the GF to thank her for the support during this time.

Also bought Zelda Ocarina of Time (jealous?) to get into along with my old standby, FIFA '13, all day every day. Gotta get back to my workout routine (which was a borderline unhealthy obsession prior to this phase of studying). And the big one, Hawaii on June 28. My job is probably gonna get in the way of a lot of this…

Damnit, June 2nd can’t come soon enough!

Plan on subscribing to HBO and watching the entire third season of game of thrones over saturday night and sunday. I didnt bother watching it from the beginning because I figured it would give me more time to focus on studying. Unfortunately, just other things filled the gap to distract me instead.

And yea, def have to get back into working out. Been slacking.

Working out has kept me sane during this process but i plan on going back to my training days and picking up a few fights before the next session of CFAI. Also have some nice women I promised dates so i’m looking forward to that. Finally, it will be summer so beach, new apartment hunting, and perhaps ill try and win back my ex. Good topic 8190,

Ha, I am getting married the following weekend… talk about maintaining the stress level. The next 3 weeks are going to be a cluster. But I’m looking forward to a nice 2 week honeymoon in Greece.

^Where in Greece?

Second the working out. It’s taken a farrrrr back seat to studying for the past ~month. Going to take a while to climb out of the hole it’s caused me to fall into, but I look forward to it.

After the exam, couple friendly co-writers and myself are bee-lining to the closest bar (same parking lot if I’m not mistaken).

Sunday - Probably catch up on either Game of thrones or breaking bad. Mostly just enjoy sitting around doing nothing.

Thereafter - starting a new job, so that’ll be the big one. But several golf trips, camping trips, and road trips are all in the works. First order of business go see the family though, they’ve kind of gotten the shaft from my studying haha.

Looking forward to getting out the lawn chairs and reading for recreation on the patio on weekends, and being able to join people after work for drinks again. I’ve got big ambitious plans to lose this beer gut before mexico in the fall too, so that should hopefully take up a lot of time as well. What else…umm, mostly I’m just excited to be social again.

Oh and call me crazy, but I even threw around the idea of re-reading my L1-2 schwesernotes over the summer…

Crete, Santorini, Mykonos then Athens

^I went to Corfu when i was in university - greek women may be my favorite of them all.

I’m going backpacking all over Europe for 2 months, can’t wait

You guys should visit Poland when in Europe! Without wishing to boast women here are deemd the most beautiful in Europe

You are about to have a great time in my country moleary  Although your schedule and destinations do not exactly imply a “relaxing” vacation.

After this exam I’m just going to leave this sad - grey - cloudy place (UK), pick a random island and scorch under the sun in some remote quiet beach.

If you’re looking for something good to do on June 2, let me make a suggestion:

Go to your local liquor store and buy a bottle of Aberlour A’bunadh: it’s a resonably-priced (~$75/750ml in the US) cask-strength (~120-proof) single malt Scotch that is wonderful. It’s 120 proof, so it’s sippin’ whisky; drink it slowly.

If you can do so with your favorite meal (e.g., entrecôte au poivre, chicken vindaloo, chirashi sushi), all the better. Don’t overdo it; savor it.

SOJU SOJU SOJU SOJU SOJU SOJU SOJU SOJUSOJSOUSOJOSDIJOJSOJSUSOJOSJU. and… soju, nothing like drinking at my cousin’s bar in SF.

i am goam buy a XBOX on june 2nd smiley

I will fly back to my workplace currently at home with parents I believe without them I couldn’t have studied day in and out i.e wake up books wat books all d time books with no household work or cooking

Beginning June 2nd I’ll have to start working 10hrs/day on average (including the weekends), until the end of the month. How’s that for a nice way to relax angry

Gonna quit my BS job and move to NYC to start my new job!

Ibiza for 8 days and base every single decision on the principles of YOLO (wish I could say I was being ironic, but it stands for everything i’ve wanted and been unable to do for the last 3 months)
