one unit option contract equals 100 options?

Not sure if “each contract contains 100 options” is always right? Thanks.

in real life that’s how it trade, don’t think that’s the same in the text though.

Thanks. Good to hear real life using it as well. I saw one questions using “contract”, and need us to calcuate number of options. The answer using one contract = 100 options relationship.

Real life relationship is 1 cotnract = 100 stocks.

the cfai mock exam 1 had a call put question and it was clearly 1 option for 1 share. I’d assume simplicity, 1 option for 1 share unless stated otherwise.
