Timely for me this too. Recently single after long relationship of many years… and thinking of getting stuck into online dating.

yeah, but 4/5 you meet are teacherz :
really? Like 60% of the responses (they’ve been pretty attractive so far) are all in med school. But then again, I live in an area of pittsburgh with three major medical schools triangulating me
prolly because i live in a fairly rural area. tons of teacher girls with nothing to do now that summer is out. a bunch sit at my pool all day. one of my fav parts of online dating is the questions: how often do you feel the need to get really drunk?; how many dates until you would consider se#?; would you date someone who grew pot for their own use?; etc.
Besides man, what’s wrong with dating hot teachers, that can’t be so bad? Plus in comparison no matter what you’re making you basically have baller status in their eyes.
AF’s been down/crashing a lot lately for me. Think Chad’s site is somehow linked to a plot with the IMF after this weekend’s hacking?
Yes, it has been crashing for me too. Only advice I can give about online dating is that online appearances can be very deceiving. I had a co-worker who was a match.com member and he’d go out with girls on there One was probably 3X the actual mass of her pic One had the personality of a chair One was too sad One was too hypher etc…

…double post really kills what little humor may have been there - carry - on.
as I said Im new back in the game after like 4 years. Whats a good idea for a first date. A dinner seems a bit too full on for a first meeting…
If the strategy is to meet a whole bunch of girls over a short time frame, don’t do full meals. meet for a coffee/snack
I once met a girl from match.com at On-the-run ( gas station store). That was my most efficient “date” ever.
coffee, drinks, wine bar - just needs to be somewhere casual where there are no presumptions and you can just talk. the reason i say teacherz are to be avoided is that they’re very needy (ie. they don’t make crap for pay, they deal with brats all day long, and they have nothing to do after 3pm) i’ve dated a few in the past and it gets really annoying, fast.

Teachers make great wives though, if that’s what you’re looking for long-term. Their health and pension benefits are second to none and their schedules are perfect for motherhood.
Uh, papers don’t grade themselves. Lesson plans don’t prepare themselves. Parents of problem kids call up at all hours to tell you that their little prince or princess will never make it to Harvard if you give them the grade they actually deserve. There’s a lot that happens after 3pm with teachers. Summers are good, though, unless you’re caught teaching summer school.

Marry a school nurse and you’ll get the best of both worlds.

Not to get off-topic b/c this is an awesome thread. But based off the commercials and other ads I see, the teachers union would have you believe Christie is going to personally rape and pillage all the teachers and then their students.
