Doctor ? Are you out of your mind ? Why would anyone marry a chick making more than him?
I’m not so superficial as to care so much about her profession, as long as she is hot, it’s fine.

(j/k) answer: because i’d like to reitre before i’m dead. doctor’s are hot - show me one that doesn’t take care of themselves after watching all the f@t a$$ed f-ups walk through their doors. how many dentists do you know who have bad teeth?
Saw a study not that long ago which found that female doctors have higher rates of divorce and successful suicide than the general population of females.
is she makes more than me and we divorce - do i get half?
^You can definitely get something (assuming you didn’t sign any prenup)

Personally I’d rather take my chances with an independent minded female medical student that had goals and ambitions and a work ethic as well as intelligence than some girl who waitresses at red robins hoping she meets a guy with a big pay check. At least you don’t have to question the motives.
Great thread. I think the key to online dating is being creative/witty, showing you have some goals/take pride in yourself (but not in a serious self absorbed way), and keeping a good state of mind about it all. I prefer it to bars because you have a little more info than what they look like. You could approach a hot girl in a bar and find out she practices witchcraft. At least on dating sites she might mention it so you can click next. Definitely send out messages, not winks. Don’t be a hopeless romantic and send one out thinking they are the one. There are plenty of attractive/smart people on these sites so you should have no problem finding some good ones. Bars are probably a good place for a first date so you can talk. If it goes well ask if they want to get some food down the street (and pay for it because it can’t hurt to make a good first impression). Anyway, I just started seeing someone I met off OkCupid. Will have to wait to see how it goes, but I recommend the sites. It’s like flipping through a catalog. You wouldn’t want everything in it, but every once and a while something catches your eye.
Did you try adultfriendfinder? Any luck?
messaged my first physician today - fingers crossed!
No no no, Mar. Actually, who knows, whatever strategy works for you. But what I did is just mass messaged a crap ton of girls (probably like 15 or so, took like 10 minutes) that I thought would be a good match (hot, similar interests). Then forgot about it and went about my business. Then over the next couple days you just see which ones get back to you. I was actually REALLY lucky, because the top 3, the only ones I was really excited about turned out to be the three that got back to me so far. So, very pumped about that, have a couple dates lined up. Most efficient pickup work I’ve ever done. Basically three numbers in 10 minutes. Hard to match that at a bar.
Black Swan, dont let them know about your short temper brother until the second date.
LOL. It’s funny though, cause people who know me in real life typically view me as having a really really restrained temper. But for some reason on the internets I just love blasting peeps.
Interweb is perfect to troll on.
So I was at this comedy show last night, and the emcee picks on a couple sitting right in front: MC: “What do you do, sir?” Guy: “I’m an Equity Analyst?” MC: “What the f is that? Is that just a lame way of saying you’re an investment banker?” Guy: “No, I do Equity Research” MC (to the woman sitting with him): “And what do you do, miss?” Woman: “I’m in fashion!” At this point, I laugh and ask myself which AF person that was!
^ To that question, I would rather mess with the guy. I’m a russian scientist, I make the tips of bombs… you know… the ones that find NY or Washington… - bonus points if who knows which movie that came from
