P90X or Insanity?

I’ve competed in quite a few NAGA and grapplers quests and I’ve had one amateur san da fight. I really should compete more with the amount of sparring / training i do.

I bet CT/TRH has more snatch than that under his belt.

Seriously, decent lifts. I need to get back to doing Oly. I was in the gym yesterday and I guy I used to workout with cleaned 305. Almost freakin’ power cleaned it. I need to get stronger.

I forget, does OLY do deadlifts? Most of my friends who are into lifting are Powerlifting competitors and I get the two confused.

305 is legit weight. For deads i’ve been doing snatch grip and that seems to help me mentally with my snatch. I’m no longer in the game for pure str anymore so Im not to concerned with absolute weight (although the minute i see someone pushing serious weight that transforms back to my unfortunate meat head mentality)

OLY is just snatch and C&J. I love C&J. Well before I got fat and lazy.

C&J is fun, because it is easier to learn and to move big weight. I have to say that nothing feels better than hitting a perfect snatch.

Thats normal man, even for people who are fit before they start training MT. It’s just a different sport and taxes people differently. The only way to really overcome that is to keep training.

My conditioning still sucks compared to a competition athlete and I train/run four times a week 90minutes to 2 hours a shot. Everyone starts somewhere.
