“When Germany, a country that knows a thing or two about the dangers of inflation, warns us to think again, maybe it’s time for Chairman [Ben] Bernanke to cease and desist,” Didn’t Sarah Palin think that QE2 was a cruise ship? Glad to see she is educating herself though.
Didn’t the Germans want us to reduce our trade deficit? Now we do something whose result will be that we import less and export more (i.e. reducing our trade deficit), and the Germans are whining???
This probably has something to do with the $60 billion of US treasuries that Germany holds.
I really hate it when I agree with Sarah Palin.
I’m sure they are just concerned about the well-being of the US
Right now inflation is the last of the problems the US faces.
To the extent she’s anything, she’s a presumptive presidential candidate (how it pains me to say that), right? You don’t often hear serious presidential candidates second-guessing the Fed’s policy decisions, for good reason. I wonder if she understands that it’s independent. I doubt it.
Germany wants us to reduce our trade deficit, but only if it doesn’t lower their exports to the US. Also could be something to do with the US treasuries they hold. Palin needs to keep her yap shut.
if you guys didn’t already know…the US HAS to devalue its currency. If china doesn’t want to go up, US HAS to go down to keep imbalances in check. I agree with the QE2. its the best boat i have ever seen.
Heh…are any of you on here naive enough that she came up with that statement herself? Some Tea Party hack must have fed it to her so she can regurgitate.
oh god, is Palin speaking again? even if there is some content (or slight credibility) in her words, i can’t imagine ever believing she actually thought of them herself. she should be banned from TV/radio (well, maybe allowable in Alaska). did you know she has a 8-episode reality show about her! disgusting.
QE2, wasn’t that the boat in The Parent Trap… good movie

The sad part is that a sizeable and growing segment of the population are “anti-intellectual” and “anti-elitist” and lap up whatever she speaks.
It’s great that all extremely left wing people are completely rational.

I’m talking to one…
