after completing my revision, as Im doing EOCs again, it seems like I have already forgotten half of the stuff!!
Practice
i feel ya, the second time i Did EOC i was astonished as to how much i forgot… its scary really
Same here. I had spent considerable time learning and understanding conceptually, now all that seems alien.
Look at it positively…you can actually remember 50% of what you have read… I wish I could say the same!
In fact I even forgot simple formulas like leading and trailing pe. I used one for the other.
only difference between the two is the (1+growth). thats how i remember it

You and I are pretty much on the same boat then. I couldnt even remember key rate duration etc. My conceptual understanding was better than my calculations as per the mocks and samples results but I doubt even that now
Everyone’s in the same boat. Not to worry - is my advice. Just put your head down, tuck your tail between your legs and study like there’s no tomorrow. After all, it’s just a question of another 10 days. Also, I find that the biggest issue in remembering is because there is very little in terms of “Recall”. So when I read FRA today, and then again 6 days later, whatever I’ve read the first time around has evaporated. To overcome this, I suggest for the remaining days now, do small portions of multiple topics in a single day (say FRA,Eco,Equity,AA,CF on day1 and the remaining on day2). That way instead of doing 1 topic in 6 days (FRA on day1 and day6), you do 5/10 topics in 2 days. I don’t say this is a killer strategy or anything - but it just helps me get rid of feeling that I ‘left so-and-so topic behind several days ago’. It could also help from the exam point of view as each vignette usually tests a completely different topic compared to the previous vignette.
@ Meshed…I agree with this approach. QBank is a pretty good tool to keep everything fresh. However, the level of difficulty/wording isn’t up to par… Need to mix in some EOC quesions during the review…
