Passed? How long do YOU have to wait for the charter?

I wanted to start a thread to get an idea of how long AFers will be waiting for things like work experience to accumulate before receiving the charter. What’s holding YOU up?

I received the good news this morning, unfortunately need another 1.5 years at my job to clear the work experience requirement. Anyone else in the same boat?

I need two more years… maybe 1 and a half if I can get my summer work experiences to count.

try to give yourself some additional years as not always your years will be 100% accepted by CFAI

Well, I’m straight out of school working at an asset management firm so this position should be good. If I want to accelerate I can try my summer positions but not sure if I should. any penalty with applying and getting rejected?
