Just wondering if level1 passers are supposed to receive some certificate in the mail or something. And i noticed that my profile on CFA Website doesnt say that i passed. The only proof is the ‘Get your december 2009 results’ link it just seems ghetto in a way… I would expect thereto be some paper that says i passed… But didnt receive yet… How is this supposed to work…?
You do not get get a certificate or a paper saying that you pass.
well take a print out of your L1 result… that is the only proof available… you dont get any certificate…
had the same problem last year…I called the CFAI and they had my wrong mailing address.
how did you pass the exam thinking that CFAI gives out certificates/partial designations???

I dunno what you guys are talking about cause my certificate arrived on my birthday shipped first class priority mail and framed on an official cfa plaque

I called the CFAI and they sent me a certificate for it. It should arrive within this week. Jks
IF you didn’t get the certificate yet, you should probably contact CFAI IMMEDIATELY to make sure there wasn’t a mix-up with your results.!? I’d hate to not find out until exam day that you studied for the wrong test…
Don’t forget to call and make sure you receive the new distinction cards CFAI sends you. It’ll be something like " John Doe CFA L1 " They work wonders in getting an asset management job by handing them out during the interviews! . . . . . . . . . . .j/k

I think you went to the wrong website to request the certificate. It’s actually http://www.cfainc.org/ That should get you what you need.
