Passmaster on a Mac

Does anyone know how to install Passmaster on a MacBook

I am not sure that it can be installed on a Mac unless you have Windows on there. In response to this, I sold my MacBook on Ebay for $1000. I did not want to fork over money to buy Windows for Mac. I pulled out my old Dell Laptop and installed it on there. My reward, I get to carry around a 45 pound Dell and get laughed at by all the 25 year olds. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For the self-study CD course option, you will need a PC that meets the following minimum specifications in order to use the Becker applications: Windows/200/XP/Vista (32-bit versions only) Pentium II 300 MHz processor or faster 128 MB RAM or greater (256MB highly recommended) Hard drive with 125MB or more of free space (to copy optional PassMaster files you will need an additional 250 MB of space) and additional 70 MB of hard drive disk space is required to install QuickTime if you do not have QuickTime already installed Video card capable of 1024 x 768 resolution and 16-bit color or more A sound card and speakers 8x speed CD/DVD drive or faster To print your TWG (Tuition Waiver Guarantee) report, a Windows compatible printer is required. Administrative Level access is required to activate and properly install your program You must have access to the internet at some point (not necessarily on the computer with the software) to activate the software

No. You cannot. I had to put my mac aside and purchase a windows for this. Stalla should give some discount for pushing us to purchase crappy windows software.

Same problem here… stupid windows.

I still have my old Dell laptop so not all is lost. I’m having my friend who is a software engineer and refuses to use windows take a look at it for me. He somehow is able to run any program from his macbook and says it should not be a problem. I will post a followup for you guys if he is sucessful

I installed Fusion (and windows xp) to be able to run a few windows applications on my macbook pro, including Stalla’s Passmaster. It is not ideal, but it is handy not having trouble when some software will only run in windows. Otherwise I use mac for everything else.

why don’t you just get VMWare for the mac? You can install, on a separate partition, your XP or Vista and then boot from Mac OS X. I’m doing this at the moment. There’s no need to get rid of your Mac. So here’s what you should do: 1.) Run bootcamp and install windows on a partition of your hard drive 2.) Install vmware fusion, either buy it or download it from somewhere (not that i’m advocating it =) ) 3.) Run vmware fusion and boot up windows. you’ll see a window pop-up and you’ll literally see windows pop up and loading just as if you’re turning on a PC. 4.) Install all the stall passmaster stuff and watch your lectures, do your problems, and do the tests all from your mac. * 5.) This is optional but if you want, you can Unity mode which basically unifies windows and mac together so all your windows programs look as if they’re running natively on mac. i don’t know if i’ve confused you but check out vmware’s website to learn more about Vmware fusion. http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion You can also look into Parallels which is basically like VMware fusion.

I’ve use Parallels in the past and found it to be very finicky… is Vmware a better solution? Have you had any issues with it?

i’ve had 0 problems with it. it’s perfect. give vmware a shot. i’m sure you’ll love it. the Unity feature is the coolest part. I’m not sure if Parallels has that feature.
