Hi all
I am stressing out a little about a issue with my ticket and passport.
My passport does not have the umlaut over a letter in my surname due to the Irish passport office being unable to do it.
However my ticket includes the umlaut. Therefore there is a difference.
Will I be ok?
For example . This is not my real name.
Passport has John Nar
Ticket has John När

I think you will be just fine. That’s a very minor minor detail

Yeah accents shouldn’t be a problem, see this page:
www.cfainstitute.org/about/governance/policies/Pages/identification_policy.aspx
The last example under “examples of acceptable name variations” shows a name with the accent missing on the admission ticket.
That’s a great help. Thank you. A lot calmer now.
