Passport

Dear friends- Need one clarification.

  1. Is passport the only identity proof that is acceptable to cfa institute

  2. If yes, can an old passport whose validity has expired in 2011 be an acceptable id proof. (I am unable to get my passport done because of some documentation issues

Any light on the above doubts will be a great help

Thanks

  1. YES

  2. NO

Good luck.

The posters are correct, however if you write and explain your situation to CFAI, they may be able to suggest workarounds. Or maybe not, but that’s what you need to try to do.

Fortunately, you still have about two months before the December exam (if that’s when you need it) so maybe ere is time to work it out.

Pretty sure a felony criminal record disqualifies you from CFA membership.

CFA also frowns upon explicit adult material in connection to your name and CFA.

Huh?

I have a question. I don’t have a passport, and I can’t get one because I’m a wanted felon in my country, so I fled to a nonextradition treaty country. Right now, I’m living off the grid. Is there any other ID I can use to take the exam? Or will anybody loan me their passport for just a couple of days?

Thanks in advance.

(Instructions on how to get a fake passport are an acceptable alternative.)
