Kind of ironic that the star of the Fast and the Furious series of movies was killed in a drag racing car crash involving a modified sports car. Perhaps this was how he would have wanted to go.
It is very sad and shocking indeed.
Another reason why I am not a big fan of super cars in the city, it has absolutely no place for it.

Yea, this is too bad, he seemed like a genuinely cool dude - I was impressed when I found out he had a legitimate interest in marine biology and volunteered his time and money to further research on great whites.
RIP Paul Walker, at least he was in a car which was what he really loved!

I had to google Paul Walker to know who he was. In other news, a girl I went to college with died in a car accident yesterday too.
It’s kind of weird to think about “people I went to school with who died”, but traffic accidents are probably the #1 most probable way to go at this age. I know one guy who died in a crash involving Nissan Skyline and motorcycles, which sounds a lot like the actual plot of Fast and the Furious, but is actually quite tragic, since he was a pretty nice guy.
I didn’t know who he was and it’s obvious that many people liked him. However, I am surprised no one brought up the fact that at 33 he started dating a 16 yo. Seems very creepy.

Police are trying to stop it… TMZ reports that the site where Paul Walker died has had fans paying tribute to Walker by doing burn-outs, donuts and other high speed stunts. Police are trying to stop it before someone else gets hurt or killed. A producer for TMZ witnessed some of the stunts, as people will show up and peel out in order to pay tribute to Walker. Police are trying to stop the behavior to avoid any more accidents and plan on citing offenders and impounding vehicles to stop it as soon as possible.
