Anyone knows what this refers to?
pension benefit obligation netting net position instead of full asset and liability amounts
same as funded status right?
under new us gaap rules, it is the same. under ifrs, funded status and net pension assets/liabilities are diff and must be adjusted, since ifrs still uses amortization for smoothing purpsoes. i know we have had lots of discussio about this, so someone pelase correct me if im wrong.
