Dear all, I got PCP investigation letter saying that I continued to work on the exam for several seconds after time called and the book was kept open until the proctor came to collect the book. But I did not continue to work on the exam after time was called and I just hold the pencil without putting it down, but not working on the exam. When the proctor come to ask me to close the book then I closed the book. Can you help me how I should respond the letter to fight for it?
This is why I tell people to immediately drop any pencil and close the test book without a second heartbeat. For the paranoid, bring a watch and drop and close everything 5 seconds before time is up
Candidates may not use scratch paper during the exam. Scratch paper includes writing paper, the exam ticket, calculator keystroke card, desk top, or any other surface.
Do they provide scratch paper or can you write in your test booklet??? Or are you supposed to do everything in your head?
What were you hoping to accomplish in that last minute? You shouldn’t need all that time to take the test. Good preparation will ensure that you always have plenty of time left at the end of the exams.
Girl sitting behind me got booked as well for writing beyond stoppage. They give you some letter. I have no idea what happens next. Maybe they will make you pick up giraffe poop at a local zoo as punishment… along with suspending you.
With one minute left you should always put your pencil down and close your book. When they call time make sure they see your hands and don’t touch your pencil until after they collect your booklet.
^ good suggestions. I always carry a watch with me, and set it to perfectly measure 3 hours from exam start. I know literally how many seconds i have left,
and I put my pencil down, and close exam book with 10 seconds to go.
