I would love your thoughts on working for a pension/endowment fund as an analyst. This particular fund sounds like a fund of funds - investing in other managers, but portfolio is about $5B. Wondering about day to day routine, work/life balance, compensation, and exit opportunities. I’d like to know the differences on these topics vs. sell side equity research and buy side (hedge fund, mutual fund). FYI I’m currently on sell side equity research. Thanks.
I can only say my colleagues are very satisfied with their jobs. They usually leave at 5 pm.
