Figure of speech – do not take it literally. Here, in NYC, one can get all sorts of smells.
One would imagine so. But had the most dreadful (smelly) experience a couple of hours back. Was stuck in traffic behind a leaky garbage truck for what seemed like an eternity. Don’t want anything to do with smells for a few weeks now.
