Bacon, Carl. Practical Performance Measurement and Attribution. Definitely the best bang for your buck. If you’re in the fund accounting / mutual fund world, check out Bruce Feibel’s (sp?) Investment Performance Measurement. very good stuff on capital stock / NAV. . .
