I love Philly… It used to be an awful place and now I like to spend weekends there on mini-vacations. Great art museums, restaurants, galleries, terrible baseball team, …

I work there in biz district (Market St.) and there’s a XXX movie theatre and porno shops across the street. Can someone say gentrification??

They made the playoffs this year only to be beaten by the team that probably won’t lose a game through the whole playoffs as fate would have it. Flyers are back on the rise and a team to take notice of as well. But, the Eagles and 6ers suck.

I like to call it the wild wild east. At first dodging bullets on the way to work was kind of fun (just an added degree of difficulty), but it really loses it’s luster after a while…

Not exactly the title you want to be shooting for.

Philadelphia (and I’m biased as I’ve lived here for the majority of my life) is one of my favorite cities in the country. As Joey D and itstoohot pointed out, it’s got a lot going for it. FYI, Chicago and San Francisco round out my top three. As far as firms go, Vanguard and Susquehanna are the dominant “area” players, although there’s a bunch of smaller shops located in and around the business district. Thanks for the insight, it’s appreciated.
