My issues with BLM are that if a white cop kills a black man it’s treated as instant and conclusively racism and evidence or racism regardless of circumstance and with no shared responsibility. If a black cop kills a black or man or white cop kills a white man it’s police brutality. Like why are we rioting in Charlotte over a black man shot by a black cop who by all appearances had a gun and history of violence (restraining orders from assaulting his family etc). It seems to me like they’re just A) leaping to a conclusion and B) ignoring the fact that in any environment enough armed police encounters will result in x% of statistically randomized accidents. If that isn’t their message then they need to adjust their messaging. Their organized demands for reparations, free tuition for all black people and free health care were ridiculous. They’re a clown organization and frankly the race issue debate and the black community deserve better representation. That being said, I’ll stop short of saying that an imperfect protest is necessarily worse than no protest… although they’re toying with that line.
^BLM is a trumped up false narrative. The data simply isn’t there. Read Heather Mac Donald’s book, The War On Cops. Why don’t people try to educate themselves? So much easily accessible information out there.
Police harassing and imprisoning people for revealing police savagery
^Nice article. Any thoughts on why they didn’t mention Garner did not die at the scene of the confrontation? He suffered cardiac arrest in the ambulance taking him to the hospital and was pronounced dead about an hour later. Maybe not relevant? A lot of articles on this incident leave that actual cause of death out but mention what could have been contributing factors.
