I need to review port management, but with ~5% of the test weighted on this topic, and given the volume of material in this section - my question, is this worth the effort? Anyone else shaky on the port management stuff?
I am shaky there; my worst topic but the problem is that it could be from 5% to 15% so it is very likely that you see 2 vignettes. I would look it over enough so you can at least get a few questions right and dont worry about the heavy duty calcs. I also studied the ICAPM material as this could be a great item set to get everyone messed up.
I am doing it now, and how do you know its 5%? I think i am losing it. TOOO MUCH stuff here. The chapter on tyneror black is spinning my head. Gotta skip it now i think since i am on it for more than an hr, trying to solve 1/2 problem.

I think historically, it has been a small part of the test. I saw a graph somewhere of 2008 - it had 5% for Econ, Alternatives and Port Management.
i am starting to realize anything can mess you up. heres a small question, keeping all things costant, if you raise Return on the market portfolio, then how does M2 get affected. a) lower b) up c) same

I could simply create an exam on PM ONLY and i bet a lot of ppl simply wouldn’t pass that (including myself).

Just a pure guess

It actually makes sense - Level 3 is practically all port management, so I’m not sure why they would weight it so heavy in level 2. My friend who just passed level 2 last year said not to focus too much on port management - big concept shit. But I don’t know if they had to do taxes last year? FML.

I’m not sure - how is the market portfolio being raised - is the return higher for the same stated risk, or is the return increasing with an increase in the risk?

Which means lower M2. i guess. Can you confirm.
