Pospone the registration

Hello,

I’m registred for the level2 CFA exam June 2016 but based on my current schedule at work and all the personel events coming on may, I won’t be able to prepare or pass the exam this june. I would like to know if there is any possibility to postpone my registration until June 2017? If possible, could you please indicate me what should I do for that? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is not an option to withdraw from or postpone Level II or Level III exams. There is a withdrawal option for the Level I exam, but you have to pay the registration fee again and only save the initial enrollment fee.

If you’ve already registered for the 2016 exam and paid the fee, you may as well sit for it, even if you don’t study a lick. At least you’ll get a look at the exam format that may help you study for the 2017 exam. Or, just knuckle down as best you can manage and go for it.

With all this said, it never hurts to contact the CFA Institute and state your case. They may make an exception, although that’s probably unlikely except under the most extreme circumstances.

Good luck!
