Kobi so i assume you have done 2010 and 2011 mocks? What do u think of them?
I got a package from unknown sender ( a magic fairy prolly) and it contained CFA mocks from 2010-2012 and may use them

Actually I did only 2012 from CFAI Mocks. Now going through 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013. 2009 AM was much easier IMO or I’ve brushed up some concepts since taking 2012 mock (probably the latter:))
It’s definately better devoted time than Schweser Mocks, althogh I have leart a lot doing them so if you have time grab everything you can.
I feel Schweser book 2, Test 3 (which i took yesterday), while still not comparable to the CFAI mocks, was closer than any of the other Schweser tests. It required far more adjustments in FRA and numerous questions that forced you to take several steps before arriving at answers.

cgottuso so you believe its worth doing test 3 in book 2? How did your marks compare with the former schweser exams you did?
What are the relative difficulties of the CFAI mocks? Hardest, easiest?
Book 2 is the same as book 1, I didn’t spot any difference in difficulty.

BTW if anyone did the 2009 PM CFAI Mock please pay attention to question 15. I totally disagree with the answer! Maybe it is wrong indeed, but errata is probably not available now…
the test wasn’t harder as there were a fair amount of gimme’s, but questions seemed to make you think a little bit more. I disagree that all Schweser tests are created equal - just by the very nature of the L2 exam structure that can’t be true. Of course, each individual has different strengths and weaknesses.
Just did this, and got identical marks to you cleverCFA! But, with AM and PM swapped. Got slaughtered by Treynor Black item set, which I guessed my way through for 2. Messed up the PM set on mergers for 3. Otherwise was fairly happy! But, still freaking out.
I’m hitting low 70s now on Schweser with one mock left (saving for next Sat).
This week is reserved for heavy heavy formula and concept work with EOCs (plus reviewing the 2013 mock and the schweser I did today).
I too want to be hitting 80% but closest I have gotten is 76% on Schweser Book 2, Mock 2 AM
