I have posted elsewhere, but not on this thread yet. I passed.

I am shocked. I swear to God that when I walked out that room, I was very confident that I would score above 70%. What’s more shocking is that my band is only 5! I cannot believe this! My girlfriend also failed but she didn’t have time to finish the exam because we’re late to the exam. She left 2 questions unanswered in the morning session, but surprisingly, her band is 8. Because BB committed to post on 8/24 that was going to be when I released the results, but because it’s more interesting today than it will be a week from now, here is where we are at so far: AF Pass Rate: 72.55% General Pass Rate: 49.00% Difference : 23.55% It’s possible I missed some of them, but I’m still waiting on the following eleven people to post: 18 Big Babbu * Will not Post until the 8/24 because of vacation 32 Bacaladitos 40 Shaft 60 fxl 83 amazer 90 misslee 105 riskyrider 107 Gooman 117 kg34 121 qwerty76 124 Hurricane I imagine that rate will come down from 73% because people will be more inclined to post a Pass than a Fail early on. If all 11 of the people I’m waiting on post a fail, here is what the pass percentage will look like: AF Pass Rate: 66.07% General Pass Rate: 49.00% Difference: 17.07% Does the significantly higher pass rate result from AnalytForum topic discussion or is it indicative of the type of candidate that is so dedicated to passing these exams that they sought out a forum dedicated to discussing it? Probably a bit of both. While this ‘study’ has its flaws it looks to me like AF members have a higher pass rate than other CFA Candidates. Thank to all who have posted, but a special thanks to all that posted a ‘Fail’. It takes a lot of guts to post the undesirable ‘Fail’ and my hat is off to all of you that have done so, especially you Tibwa. I plan to cutoff the ‘study’ on 8/24 when BB throws up his results; I will count all outstanding as a Fail.
