at the beginning of a relationship, it is very ambiguous, if there was a time to cheat and have a legitimate excuse for bad behavior. this would be the time to have your cake and eat it too. the lack of labels and the awkwardness of placing labels gives you an ample time to test the waters and perhaps achieve what many men will never have an open relationship or perhaps a polygamist agreement. it is absolutely a good idea to just assume she is cheating, to justify bad behavior. call it a casus belli due to lack of trust. a perfect excuse.
