Hi, my name is Kaz. Nice to meet all of you. I am also preparing for the CFA Level 1 exam and I have a question. It is in reading 35 in the Financial Statement Analysis (FSA) book. The question # is 4 C ii and it relates to converting COGS to LIFO. The question does not provide any info on LIFO reserves or anything so the methodology does not follow the examples in the chapter. The names of the two companies are Zenab and Faybech. Zenab provides sufficient info to find COGS and EI under FIFO but I have no idea on LIFO. I would really appreciate it if you guys can help me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. The answer in the appendix does not provide detailed info on how the calculation was derived.
