Practice exams score tracker

Well, still not killing it like some of you studs but I finally got a passing score on one - yay!! Looks like most of you guys found that one easy though, and definitely made me realize I still need a good deal of work in FI… Vol 1: 2 PM - 73% (tonight) 3 AM - 65% 3 PM - 68% Vol 2: 1 AM - 62%

Vol 1 1AM 50% 1PM 68%

Just re-took Sample 2… 80% this time after my 56% on april 27… Just gotta keep improving each time… almost there

AM is killing me… if this were multiple choice I’d be feeling pretty good right now but hard to fake answers to an essay question if you have no clue! Full 10% difference between average AM and PM scores, but the overall scores are definitely getting better!! Deciding between the samples/mocks or more Vol 2 next, but need to start attacking the 2007-2009 exams starting Friday… Vol 1: 1 AM - 68% 1 PM - 80% 2 AM - 59% 2 PM - 73% 3 AM - 65% 3 PM - 68% Vol 2: 1 AM - 62%

sheeeet if you are worried about passing I am in some serious trouble…

Volume 2 Exam 2 AM - 67%… last question really hurt… even though the low score that exam felt really simple for some reason… a lot of really short answer types…

May 2 - Schweser Volume 1, Exam 1 AM 59% PM 63% May 7 - 2008 CFA exam - 61% May 8 - Stalla Exam 1, AM 47% PM 77% May 9 - Schweser Volume 2, Exam 1 AM 65% PM 73% May 13 - CFA Sample 1 60% May 14 - 2007 CFA Exam 63% May 15 - Schweser Volume 1, Exam 2 AM 55% PM 58% Took a week from sample exams to review concepts May 22 2009 CFA Mock - 72% May 23 Schweser Volume 2, Exam 2 AM 53% PM 73% May 24 Schweser Online Mock AM 66% PM 77% Not sure if my week review helped my marks, but feel way more prepared after doing so - except I keep making STUPID mistakes - like using nominal rates instead of real rates, not making the return before-tax when asked - stupid stuff like that!

Volume 2 Exam 2 PM 73%, this after 67% on the morning session…behavioral finance continues to hurt me when it should be an easy topic…

Schweser exams say to mark your scores down 10-15% because you get distracted/get up/get a glass of water, etc. – but wouldn’t that decrease the score rather than help? I find that the more I let my mind wander, the less I’m able to concentrate on the practice exams. I’d be more inclined to add 5% or so onto my exams to account for the concentration factor that happens when faced with actual exam.

Vol 1: 1 AM: 66% 2AM: 63% 2PM: 75% I’m finding the AM sessions pretty tough.

i dont buy that schweser warning at all… level 1 and 2 i was scoring in mid 70s on them and passed both levels with pretty strong marks… to mark your exam down 15% is a huge amount… i would say it may be around 3-5% at most

I’m not that lazy on exam day and (plan to, anyways) stay for the entire morning session, trying to get points until I’m told to put my pen/pencil down. The afternoon session is a different story, however - if I feel confident in my AM score and how I’ve done on the PM, I’ll be out of there in an hour.

Aimee you are on roll here. Miss Curve setter

Volume 1 2 PM: 60%

Wow, if that’s the curve then god help us all! Seems like noone wants to put their scores out there this year… its nice for me to keep track though so I don’t care if I’m the only one  Vol 1: 1 AM - 68% 1 PM - 80% 2 AM - 59% 2 PM - 73% 3 AM - 65% 3 PM - 68% Vol 2: 1 AM - 62% Sample 1 - 66% Sample 2 - 76% 2009 Mock - 68% (damn you, derivatives!!) 2007 AM CFA - 71% 2010 Mock tomorrow, though sounds like it’s rather easy from what everyone here has said…

Good point Aimee - I suppose it’s a good idea to compile and track all my scores. Schweser Vol 2 (mistakenly grabbed book 2 first, when I started a few weeks ago) exam 1 AM 66% exam 1 PM 60% Vol 1 Exam 1 AM - 58% (ouch!) Exam 1 PM - 75% Exam 2 AM - 69% CFA (hate the format of these samples) Sample 1 - 70% Sample 2 - 66% 2007 CFA AM - 69% 2008 CFA AM - 75% (scored close to perfect on the IPS - got murdered by commodities)

Is it me or the Schweser Exams are way out of track in terms of formulation… I’ve just done: Volume 2, Exam 1PM and got 66% (40/60)… Yet, I’ve circled all questions that were shitty-formulated and knew I could get wrong answers on them because of the formulations… And correcting it afterwards, most of my mistake were on those questions… What’re your feelings about Schweser’s?
