See I think commodity calcs, contingent immunization and implied fra rates are easy :-/ I guess its luck of the draw on D-Day.

Sample 1 - 66% Sample 2 - 76% Mock 2009 - 80% Schweser Mock - 61 (AM) and 67(PM) BSAS Mock - 60 (AM) and 80 (PM) I hope this would be enough to pass.

cfaboston, wow thats a really good score on the 2009 mock. i just took it, 60%?!?!?!?!? man this is bad. Averaging 50s for AM from prior CFA exams

Don’t worry bipolar. I just got lucky. They tested the material I know reasonably well. Sample bias.

dude u got this stuff done. i’m expecting you to pass, don’t disappoint me.

we both are passing, my fellow bostonian!

Schweser Vol.2 1AM 60% 1PM 70%

CFA Samples, 1 and 2, which took last night: combined score of 68%. Think I know the 2 areas to focus on. Schweser Mock: a.m. 73% p.m. 60% (chocking this up to not having reviewed some topics)

Took 2008 AM paper and got ~72% with conservative grading.

finally starting to get into a little bit of a groove…in order of taking them: Schweser Book 1: 1AM - 66% 1PM - 67% 2AM - 69% 2PM - 67% 2009 AM - 69% Sample 1 - 73% Sample 2 - 50% Mock 2010 - 83% 3AM - 74% 3PM - 78% 2008 AM - 75% I hope I can keep the trend alive until test day

Schweser Vol 1: 1AM: 64% 1PM: 65% 2AM: 54% 2PM: 63% 3AM: 64% 3PM: 63% Schweser Vol 2: 1AM: 68% 1PM: 60% CFA Mock: 2010: 67% CFA Past Exams: 2006: 70% 2009: 67% Ridiculously consistent… now if only I could revise them up ~5-10%!

cautiously that is good that it is so consistent though… means you have a pretty good understanding of a wide range of topics… I am in the same boat as you with schweser exam scores ranging from low to high 70s with one outlier in the low 80s… i would much rather be in that boat though than all over the map… wide ranges means there could be a lot of topics you just have no clue on and get slaughtered if they are asked… since you have a pretty good understanding on a lot of topics, just drill hardcore into the ones that are the most important for the exam (FI, Risk, Derivs)… and obviously IPS… I know there will be topics that I do not know, but if I can nail the important ones we should be good to go

FI/Swaps definitely my weak point… I know what I’m doing for the rest of the day!

2008 CFA AM - 69.4% 2009 CFA AM - 64.4% 2010 CFA PM Mock - 80% CFA Sample 1 - 66% (just took this and absolutely $hit the bed on two of the item sets. kinda pissed right now)

Chrono Order Book 1 #1 AM - No score I cheated Book 1 #1 PM - Cheated again Book 1 #2 AM - 68.8% Book 1 #2 PM - 68.3% Book 1 #3 AM - 68.8% Book 1 #3 PM - 68.3% 2010 Mock - 80% 2009 Mock - 78.3% 2009 CFA AM - 61% Book 2 #1 AM - 65% Book 2 #1 PM - 78.3%

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the 2010 sample exams in terms of value? There’s beyond enough practice exams between Schweser and CFA past exams, the mock is free, and while I wouldn’t skip studying for sections that appear on the sample, they’re not going to realistically have too similar of a vignette on the real exam from one of them. Additionally, the format of one question at a time doesn’t mimic the exam format. Obviously the CFAI will promote them since it’s pure profit once the small cost of writing 60 questions is reclaimed, but I feel a bit taken having paid $1.33 per question for the first sample that took about an hour.

My sample scores at level 2 were all between 50-66 or so and I only got 3 sections on the actual exam below 70%, and those were b/w 50% and 70%. I took the sample exams 1-2 weeks from the exam, too. The samples can be quite helpful in pointing out weak spots. My mindset has always been that the purpose of practice exams is not to show you how you will do on the test, but rather to help you identify weak spots to ensure that you do well on the test.

Where is everyone getting these old mock exams from??

So I can claim I posted something on AF after lurking L1 and L2 ;-))) Schweser Practice Exams Vol 1: 1AM: 54,4% 1PM: 76,7% That essay stuff gets me nervous…
